Former chief executive officer, graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus with a major in accounting. He has developed vast experience in litigation support, business valuation and auditing and consulting of profit and non profit organizations, with specialization in hospitality, insurance, broadcasting, construction, manufacturing and services industries. He is member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants.

He serves as a counselor for our new generation and as inspiration for all our staff because his charisma, high professional qualities and excellent human sense.

EDUCATION:

University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus Bachelor in Science and Business Administration – Major in Accounting Certified Public Accountant

EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL PRACTICE AREAS:

Mr. Rivera has over 30 years of experience in public accounting with vast and extensive experiences in assurance of private entities. He also has experience in assist in the preparation of financial statements compiled, reviewed and audited for-profit entities and nonprofit. Review and examination of financial projections and budgets (Forecast and Projections), financial planning, budget preparation.

In the area of management consulting for small and medium size business has been involved in the design and operation of accounting systems, purchase and sale of businesses, advice on labor law, finance, management, information systems and technology.

In the tax field he has experience in the preparation of corporations, partnerships and individuals tax returns. Also in Tax and financial planning for businesses and individuals. Preparation of application for incentives and tax exemption. Representation in contributory investigations before government agencies. Planning and forms of estates and trusts.

In the non-traditional engagements has been involved in forensic accounting and fraud detection cases, insurance claims (business interruption), contract of purchase and sale report Medicare costs, financial arrangements, bankruptcy cases, litigation including: breaking business dissent among shareholders, divorce, disagreements between partners and mergers.

Mr. Rivera also has a vast experience performing and supervising peer reviews, managed by the AICPA and the Puerto Rico CPA Society.
